Dr. Wong is a compassionate and highly skilled ear surgeon recognized for his expertise in the care of adults and children with hearing, balance, and skull base disorders. His focus includes the medical and surgical treatment of hearing loss, cochlear implantation, ear infections, cholesteatoma, cerebrospinal fluid leaks, acoustic neuromas (vestibular schwannomas), and temporal bone tumors. He is proficient in the latest surgical techniques, including endoscopic minimally invasive ear surgery and robot-assisted cochlear implantation.

Dr. Wong received his medical degree from Boston University, where he graduated with the Dean Eleanor Tyler Award. He then completed surgical training in Otolaryngology (ENT) at Mount Sinai and the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. During training, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society for his excellence in patient care and service. He subsequently completed a fellowship in neurotology and skull base surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. During fellowship, he served as a staff surgeon and instructor at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Hospital, and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Dr. Wong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Rutgers, and has published extensively in his field with over 150 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and abstracts. He holds multiple academic appointments, and serves as a reviewer for leading international journals in the field, including Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, the official journal of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, and Otology & Neurotology, the official journal of the American Neurotology Society. He has been invited to speak at national and international conferences on his research related to hearing loss and treatments, and has earned multiple awards and recognitions for his work.
